Elder Raymond Scott III

Early Beginnings

Pastor Scott was born in Klondike, GA on January 21, 1969 to his father, Raymond Scott, Jr. and his mother Sister Elma Jean Scott. He is the fourth of seven children.

Education

Pastor Scott attended (what high school) public School in Perry, Georgia. He graduated in the year of 1989. After attending high school, he worked doing various jobs until he became employed for ECP Distributors as a warehouse driver. Pastor Scott has worked there for 21 years. In July of 1999 the lord filled him with the Holy Ghost under the leadership of Elder Cannie Lester, Sr. in Hawkinsville, GA Church of God by Faith. He served faithfully there as a lay member, Deacon and then God call him into the ministry. Pastor Scott worked faithfully there until god gave him a new assignment as the new pastor of Abundant Life GOGBF in Warner Robins, GA.

Family

Pastor Scott is happily married to his wife (the only wife), Latonia Scott. They are blessed to have two daughters, four granddaughters, and one grandson. Pastor Scott and his wife loves family time and watching the grands. If Pastor Scott had his way they all would be living with us today. Pastor Scott and his wife hearts desires are to see their children and family members saved and living for Jesus.

Ordained To Minister

Pastor Scott served faithfully and worked alongside his pastor, taking heed to the teaching. In the year of 2012 he was ordained as minister of COGBF. He continued to serve in the church and brought many people back and forth to hear the word of the lord. In the year of 2016 Pastor Scott was ordained Elder in the Church Of God By Faith where is continually encourage God’s people through the word. He is a humble man that love’s god’s people and will do anything to see them come to Christ and receive the joy of the lord and be saved. Pastor Scott’s favorite scripture (one of them for he has many), is Psalms 34:1.

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Sister Latonia Renee Scott

Sister Latonia Scott, the daughter of Carlton and Lora Lester was born in Boynton Beach, Florida. She was brought to Georgia by her Grandmother at the age of one years old where she lived since. She is the oldest of three children. Sister Scott was taught be her parents to work had for what you want in life and to trust God. She attended public school in Hawkinsville, GA and furthered her education at Ashford University online College for early childhood education. She received the holy Ghost in the year of 1999 under the leadership of Elder Cannie Lester, Sr. where she served faithfully on every auxiliary in the church from Ushering, Usher President, WWC Secretary/Vice President, Program Committee member/Prop-person, kitchen committee, Finance board assistance, Pre-K Sunday School Teacher, and whatever else her hands found to do. In 2017/2018 Pastor Scott sister Scott’s husband was assigned to serve as Pastor of Abundant Life COGBF in Warner Robins, GA. She works faithfully with him in serving God’s people. Sister Scott is thankful for the great leadership of her Pastor and his wife Elder Cannie and Sister Patricia Lester for the teaching and examples of how to love God and his people no matter what, and she can now put those things into action as being newly Pastor’s wife. Her favorite scripture is (one of them) 2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of sound mind.
